I am definitely a member of said legion!  As a Sarah Dessen fan, I have had my eye on this new one for quite some time.  I adore her novels because they bring such a well rounded theme, touching on all parts of a story, not just one. This novel in particular poses an emotional punch, one that I have faith Sarah Dessen will deliver at her best.  My excitement knows no bounds and I cannot wait until I have the next Dessen read in my hands!

WOW. This is my most anticipated read of 2015.  If this is your first time coming across a Jessi Kirby book, then I hope you'll take a minute to discover her previous titles Moonglass, In Honor, and Golden -- all of which are among my favorite YA contemporaries.  I have no doubt this next one will make that list as well.  There is so much emotion lying in that description, that I just know her words will have a physical impact on me once again.

Okay so, after reading that description is anyone else wondering if Riley and Reid find romance with each other?!  I know I am!  Amy Spalding has such a unique, unforgettable voice in the YA community and I am so psyched to read this novel from her in 2015.  It sounds every bit fun, but I know she'll apply that authentic sense of depth and emotion she's so well-crafted, too.

I really gravitated toward Katie Cotugno's writing in her debut novel, How to Love.  It's a style that really appealed to my eye and made me instantly aware of anything new she'd be sending out into the universe once again.  I'm curious to find out the reasons behind this turmoil that seems to be circulating around these new characters.  And I'm also hoping for a repeat of another slow, authentic, page-turning romance.  Anyone else waiting patiently for Cotugno's next YA?

When a book is compared to Sarah Dessen or Huntley Fitzpatrick, my interest is definitely peaked.  I have yet to read a YA contemporary set in the political arena, so this could be refreshingly different.  I'm curious if the writing will leave me with the same sense of pure love for YA contemporary as Dessen and Fitzpatrick do, though.  This one is definitely on the TBR for 2015!

I'm a sucker for YA stories involving music, so naturally I added this one to my TBR list because of that.  Then when I read the description, I discovered a deeper story that's being told underneath all that music.  The line: "what it feels like to outgrow a friendship that's always defined you" truly spoke to me because I feel that's an honest theme that many, no matter what age, can relate to.

High school romances are always full of so much drama.  Sometimes the story can be fleshed out to be much deeper than just the romance itself, while other times it may result in just a fun, quirky read.  Whatever this story may end up being, this book peaked my interest.  I like the simplicity of this cover, which definitely drew my eye in to take a closer look.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of seeing the amazing Stephanie Perkins at a local author event.  She was talking all things ISLA AND THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER, of course, but she also discussed this upcoming anthology she worked on.  I had heard about it before, but after listening to her discuss the process of putting it together, and touching on some of the stories inside, it immediately went on my auto-buy list!  I love holiday stories and desperately want more in the YA genre!  I am so excited for this upcoming release!!!

I totally got the Fright Night Lights vibe (insert baseball, instead of football) when I first heard about this book.  Anyone else??  I haven't read too many YAs that center around sports, so this one will be good to add to that.  Definitely looking forward to this one come Fall!

The setting for this book is what grabbed my interest at first.  I have yet to read a contemporary novel set in Alaska and this one sounds like the perfect start for that.  I've been very satisfied with Bloomsbury Spark's contemporary line so far, and have hopes this one will deliver as well.

I have a huge attraction to roadtrip books.  I love the constant change in the setting and the self discoveries along the way.  This one has potential to really deliver in both of those areas, and for that reason it's been added to my to-be-read list for summer reading.

I think the premise for this story sounds so cute!  Really looking forward to reading this new novel by Lindsey Leavitt in the coming weeks.  For someone who has never been to Vegas, I think it will be fun to take a literary trip through the adventures of Holly and her family's wedding chapel.

The first book, Rules of Summer, was a favorite summer read for me last year, and I feel like it was a book that didn't get the attention it deserved.  So having enjoyed that one so much, of course I am patiently waiting for its companion novel, Since Last Summer.  I really liked the alternating stories between Rory and Isabel, giving a glimpse at summer life in the Hamptons from the upstairs and downstairs point of views.  However, it was Isabel's story that stood out a little more for me.  I am so anxious to find out if Mike gets another chance! He has to, right?!

I remember when Kristin, a local author, announced her book deal for this story and how HAPPY I was for her!  Everything about this debut novel sounds delicious... from the setting in Italy, to the summer romance abroad, and I've heard there's mention of gelato!  Mmm.  I recently got a copy to read, so I don't have to wait much longer, but I wanted to feature it anyway so others could add it to their to-be-read list.

When YA novels incorporate real life drama with drama of Hollywood, I think it has potential to create such a cute, fun read.  This one sounds like it would make a great beach read, or perhaps something to devour while you're in an airport, waiting for that vacation of yours to start.  Definitely added to my TBR list and will be checking out the closer it gets to summer.

I first heard about this book from Anna's blog and when I saw the title I immediately went to goodreads to find out more.  SUMMER STATE OF MIND is pretty much me, all the time.  So naturally I had to investigate this novel.  On further inquiry I realized, that YES, I need this book in my life.  It sounds like the perfect read to take with you to the beach/pool and lose a couple of hours under the shade.
