Racing Savannah
They’re from two different worlds.

He lives in the estate house, and she spends most of her time in the stables helping her father train horses. In fact, Savannah has always been much more comfortable around horses than boys. Especially boys like Jack Goodwin—cocky, popular and completely out of her league. She knows the rules: no mixing between the staff and the Goodwin family. But Jack has no such boundaries.

With her dream of becoming a horse jockey, Savannah isn’t exactly one to follow the rules either. She’s not going to let someone tell her a girl isn’t tough enough to race. Sure, it’s dangerous. Then again, so is dating Jack… [goodreads]

You guys! I am so excited to read another Miranda Kenneally book.  At the beginning of this year, I went on a bender & read all 3 of her novels back to back.  I felt like her writing progressed more and more with each one, so I have high hopes this one will be even better!  This story just oozes goodness -- a boy & a girl from two different worlds, colliding in a horse stable?! Love that. I also love that it centers around a strong female lead, something Kenneally is very good at writing.

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

  1. I have the same pick, I agree with you, Miranda's books are awesome. I just need to read book 3. It's still on request in the library, it's taking forever. I can't find it in stores but I also can't buy it online yet because I've been buying so many books from The Book Depository these past few months.
This is one of the few contemporary series that I actually enjoy, along with Sarah Dessen's books and Anna and the French Kiss.

Anyways, awesome pick, mine is: http://www.nazishreads.net/weekly-events/waiting-on-wednesday-58-racing-savannah

  2. I need to take your cue and go on a Kenneally bender. Can you believe I still haven't read the first book? This does sound like a good one! And not too much longer to wait :)
