In My Mailbox {65}

This week's mailbox isn't much, but I'm still quite happy with it!  Some are a few books I purchased, one is my own that came back home from a little "mini book tour", and another is a gift all the way from England!  As always, please let me know in the comments if you've read any of these.  Happy reading!!

The Selection by Kiera Cass (my own ARC that I let friends borrow)
Touch by Jus Accardo (Vote for it in the #YAMM! Click HERE)
Divergent by Veronica Ross (paperback edition! has Ch 1 & 2 of Insurgent!)
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling (UK edition all the way from England!)

  7. I like those versions of the HP books - my UK editions are the "kids' covers", with the cartoon-y drawings on the front, but I've seen these more and more lately on the shelves. Happy reading!

  13. Magan may have actually talked me into reading The Selection eventually. haha. I hope you like it too. And also Deathly Hallows, so jealous! I don't know when I'm going to have time to reread the HP series again but I always hope the chance is right around the corner. (Maybe when they become eBooks? They are really heavy to carry back & forth to work.) Hope you have a great Sunday!

  19. The Selection is high on my "can't wait to read" list! Also, I feel like I NEED the UK covers of Harry Potter even though I have the US ones! I am such a geek!

  20. Hi there Ginger, I am envious of Divergent since those have been on my wish-list for some time now, especially now that Insurgent was just recently released. I've heard so many rave reviews about the book that I couldn't wait to find out for myself. And of course, Harry Potter is Harry Potter - looks like there would be reprints again and again and again. I'm pretty sure there'd be a graphic novel/illustrated version soon. Have fun with your new reads.

  21. It might not be a huge pile, but they're all excellent!! You all have officially convinced me I MUST read Touch asap (and I've been fiendishly voting for it not having read it). I STILL haven't read Divergent, and am debating at this point to wait till the whole series is out. I was literally just wondering what the Harry Potter paperbacks might look like, beautiful spine.

  22. Divergent was awesome, but haven't read the other ones. Not even the Harry Potter book, that's the only one I haven't read.

  23. I just bought Divergent and can't wait to start reading it! That's really cool how you got a UK edition of the Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows!! Lovely pile this week.

Hope you are having a great day!

  29. You can purchase the UK copies a little closer to the States; Chapters.ca often has the UK copies also available for sale, which in Canada are distributed through Raincoast Books.

    1. At least the Harry Potter books, but there are also other UK versions of books that you can easily get through Canadian book companies.

  30. That looks to me like a signature edition of Harry Potter? I love those covers and don't blame you at all for having it shipped over from here! You've got me interested to see what the US editions look like now though! :) anyway enjoy!

  38. Your Harry Potter book is beautiful. Even though I have the hardcover Scholastic version, I would still buy that if I had the opportunity!! That said, I also want to read The Selection and Divergent! They look so cool. I've never heard of Touch but not I do because of this post! Thanks for sharing :)

  39. That's a great IMM, I am sort of jealous/envious of the HP that came all the way from the UK. That's awesome. I've been meaning to pick up a copy of Divergent, I haven't gotten the chance to read it yet. But, I've also got an ARC of The Selection, which I really need to bump up on the list. So many reviews books to read, what to do. What to do? ;)

  40. Nice mailbox, chicka! :-) I am dying to read The Selection. I hope it's a good read because that cover is too gorgeous to belong to a bad book!

I know I'm the minority, but I've _never_ read any of the Harry Potter books >.< I need to change that! LOL.

Hope you enjoy all your lovelies!
