This Is What Happy Looks Like by Jennifer E. Smith
To be published: April 2, 2013 by Poppy
If fate sent you an email, would you answer?
When teenage movie star Graham Larkin accidentally sends small town girl Ellie O'Neill an email about his pet pig, the two seventeen-year-olds strike up a witty and unforgettable correspondence, discussing everything under the sun, except for their names or backgrounds.
Then Graham finds out that Ellie's Maine hometown is the perfect location for his latest film, and he decides to take their relationship from online to in-person. But can a star as famous as Graham really start a relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie want to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs? [goodreads]
Since reading and loving The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, I have been eager to read something new by Jennifer E. Smith. I am super pumped for this new contemporary from her in 2013!
"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
I read the first chapter of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight and I loved it so much! I haven't had time to read the rest yet (huge TBR pile + not so much time = bad combo), but I want this one too!
ReplyDeleteMy WoW
Fantastic pick, I am DYING for this book too! I liked You Are Here and LOVED The Statistical Probability, and this sounds even better. Can't wait for it!
ReplyDeleteAs soon as I saw the cover, I knew it was by Jennifer E. Smith, same feel as TSPoL, how didn't know about this? Good pick :)

Loved the Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight, so I'm excited for this book! And I also applaud whoever designs her covers--I still think I like Statistical Probability cover better, but this one is still great.
ReplyDeleteSO waiting on this. Loved Statistical Probability.
ReplyDeleteI've been avoiding Statistical Probability for...creative reasons (this is what happens when you have dreams of being published. Le sigh.) BUT! I desperately want to read it and have heard nothing but great things. And pet pig? THIS ARKANSAS GIRL IS IN.
ReplyDeleteYEP. I want this badly. I loved Stat Prob (too lazy for full title) and I can't wait to see what this author pens next <3
