Waiting On: Golden

Golden by Jessi Kirby
To be published: May 14, 2013 by Simon & Schuster
Golden
Seventeen-year-old Parker Frost may be a distant relative of Robert Frost, but she has never taken the road less traveled.

Valedictorian and quintessential good girl, she’s about to graduate high school without ever having kissed her crush or broken the rules. So when fate drops a mystery in her lap—one that might be the key to uncovering the truth behind a town tragedy, she decides to take a chance. [goodreads]

Author Jessi Kirby is an instant read for me. So naturally when I found out about her next novel, it instantly went on my "to be read list". This story in particular sounds interesting. I like that the character is a distant relative of Robert Frost and I really like how one of his poem's is quoted on the cover. So excited for something new from Jessi Kirby!

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

  2. I think these are my favorite coming of age stories. Could be because I can so relate (good girl making a drastic decision to finally grow up, etc.) but either way, this one looks phenomenal, naturally. : )
