In My Mailbox {62}

I stepped foot in my Barnes & Noble this week for the first time in FOREVER.  They moved everything around!  There was Travel & Informational Text where my usual Young Adult section is! Completely threw me off. Thankfully I found my place & umm purchased one book. I know I said I shouldn't be buying books right now, but.. but.. it's Jennifer Echols & I couldn't resist :)

Al Capone Does My Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko - for my Literacy class!
The One That I Want by Jennifer Echols
The Fine Art of Truth or Dare by Melissa Jensen - thanks Sash!

  7. I've read the Al Capone one. It's touching! And the truth or dare one is really intriguing!

  8. I have the Al Capone book at home from a random book sale.

    Jennifer Echols is awesome, so that is totally understandable.

    Happy reading, Ginger! :-D

  11. I LOVE Al Capone Does My Shirts! Such a great historical fiction about something most kids (and adults) never think about: that there were people (other than prisoners) that lived on Alcatraz.

    Ps: Good job on the self-control at B&N! I'm always pants when it comes to walking into a bookstore and not leaving with an armload!

  23. I noticed that B&N did that too! I wandered around for ages trying to find the dang YA section.

    And yes, I still giggle when I read "Al Capone Does My Shirts" lol.

  24. Ooh. The Fine Art of Truth or Dare. I can't wait to see your review on that one :]

    Also, I went into my B&N a couple weeks ago and my YA was NOT where it was supposed to be. It totally threw me off. And made me a bit disgruntled. I hate change :P I still don't know where it is, but I'll definitely find out next time I actually have money for books.
