Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Shelf That Have Been Unread The Longest

Considering I've been blogging for six years now, there are A LOT of books still sitting on my shelves unread.  I decided to go through my goodreads To-Read shelves and feature the books that have been there the longest, not necessarily the ones before I started blogging.  All of these I own, but they haven't been read yet.  Have you read any of these? Let me know in the comments if there's a book, or two, or three, I need to take off this list & add to READ sooner, rather than later!

1. City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare [add to goodreads]
2. What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen [add to goodreads]
3. Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys [add to goodreads]

4. Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green & David Levithan [add to goodreads]
5. The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart [add to goodreads]
6. How to Save a Life by Sara Zarr [add to goodreads]

7. The List by Siobhan Vivian [add to goodreads]
8. I'll Be There by Holly Goldberg Sloan [add to goodreads]
9. Some Girls Are by Courtney Summer [add to goodreads]
10. The Duke and I by Julia Quinn [add to goodreads]

  1. I really liked Will Grayson, Will Grayson. One of my favorite John Green books. Between Shades of Gray is one I want to read as well. Great list!

  2. Between Shades of Gray is so good...and heartbreaking! What Happened to Goodbye is on my TBR as well. It's one of the only Sarah Dessen books I haven't read.

  5. I love Ruta Septys- but I've only read her Out of the Easy- I really need to read all her others.

I've been blogging since 2009, so it was hard to find books on my TBR from before that time. I occasionally cull my TBR (and a lot of my pre-blogging tbr books were books I was never all that excited about because my book world was still pretty small).

So many great reads on your list- here's to finding the time to read them all!

  12. I read What Happened To Goodbye quite recently and really enjoyed it. Very teen TV-show-esque I thought. I haven't gotten around to reviewing it just yet though, but it was the first Dessen I'd read since I was quite young and it put me back on her again. I also LOVE The Mortal Instruments series!! R xx

  13. You should definitely read What Happened to Goodbye! I absolutely loved that story (even though it took me a while to read it as well). I also really love the Bridgerton series, so definitely read The Duke & I!!
