My Top Ten New Adult Books To Recommend

Since this week's topic is considered a freebie, I thought it would be fun to list my top ten New Adult recommendations.  As this "genre" is growing and making a name for itself, I've encountered some winners (and some not-so-winners, unfortunately).  If you're a fan of these books, or interested in giving them a try, hopefully today's list will be a good point of reference.

Let me know in the comments if you have your own New Adult recs -- I'd love to add them to my TBR! As always, be sure to check out The Broke and the Bookish for more details on this awesome weekly feature.

  1. I always love a good NA recommendation, and I may have read about half this lsit already, there are still a couple of books I've not picked up yet so I will have to check them out. Deeper certainly sounds like an interesting read, I've passed it by a couple of times, but now I might just give it a chance.

  2. I've read (and loved) about half of these books. There are some gems to be found in New Adult for sure. and I should really catch up on the Rusk Univ. series. And Last Will and Testament is one I have on my kindle- thanks for reminding me about it!

  7. I also love the Rusk University books! They are so much fun. And Easy! Oh that book is amazing. I haven't read any of the others but I should. New Adult is a lot of fun.

  9. Yessss. Totally seconding Deeper. Have you read the sequel yet? (I had mixed feels about it, but ultimately liked it. Ruthie Knox/Robin York can mostly do no wrong for me. I trust her so much as a writer.) Also, I am stealing all of these recs - I haven't read most of them, though I've heard great things about Katie Cotugno.

I'd rec Trade Me by Courtney Milan, The Year We Fell Down by Sarina Bowen, and Foreplay by Sophie Jordan (the first book of the Ivy Chronicles, and the only one I've liked so far).

  10. I LOVE New Adult books, but I've read some duds as well. I so, so, so agree about Easy and Deeper!! Love those two so much. And the rest of these are all on my TBR but I haven't read them YET. Some of my favorite NA books are by K.A. Tucker and Chelsea Fine. Ten Tiny Breaths and Best Kind of Broken are two of my all-time faves. :)
