  1. There have definitely been so many fantastic new releases this year, but one of my absolute favourites would have to be 'We Were Liars' which absolutely shocked me, although 'The Winner's Curse' is definitely another one which is at the top of my favourites. I'd love to win 'What I Thought Was True' since it's been on my TBR so long and I can't wait to finally read something by Huntley Fitzpatrick! Thanks so much for the giveaway Ginger :)

  3. It's really hard to come up with just one for my favorite, but I'm going with Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng. I already own several of the ones you featured, but I don't have Open Road Summer, and would love to read that one.

  4. You read so many books that I've been considering myself in the New Year, including Open Road Summer, Twenty Boy Summer and To All The Boys, so there's a chance I'd choose one of those personally.. or maybe What I Thought Was True or Since You've Been Gone, their on my to-buy list too! Personally, I've been loving A.J. Pine this year, If Only and What If, and I have to say, Dangerous Girls and Cinder were great too. That and my soft spot for Tom Hoyle reads, oosh. Wonderful giveaway too hunny! :)

  5. Ooh, such a great list! My favorite of the year was I'LL GIVE YOU THE SUN by Jandy Nelson. I already read and loved most of these books, too, but I haven't read/don't own THE SOUND OF LETTING GO and it's definitely on my TBR, so that's what I'd pick!

  12. It's really hard to pick a favourite book, but I really loved To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han ( and of course the 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' trilogy ), Open Road Summer by Emery Lord ( starting to go insane anticipating The Start Of Me And You. I love her books so much ), and though not the latest, but to me still one of the best, One Night That Changes Everything and Open Road Summer by Lauren Barnhodlt and lastly The Ex's Games by Jennifer Echols. I would love to get a copy of Open Road Summer, because I really love romance books involving fictional celebrities, with a touch of humour. Favourite quote has got to be "Ladies and guys pretending to be gentlemen to get these ladies to go home with you, please welcome Matt Finch!"

  63. There are so many!! I can't choose just one!! (In no particular order)

    We Were Liars by E. Lockhart — I read this in June and it’s still on my mind. It’s on many Best of 2014 lists for a reason!! This review by Parade.com says it best, “A rich, stunning summer mystery with a sharp twist that will leave you dying to talk about the book with a pal or ten.”

    On the Fence by Kasie West — Loved this book. Four words: older brother’s best friend!

    The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith — This book left me with the biggest “just finished a good book” high this year.

    What I Thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick — Love her and can’t wait for her next book.

    Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins — This definitely was a happy ending for the Anna and the French Kiss Series.

    If I win, I would LOVE to receive Isla and the Happily Ever After. I know I've read it, but I could read it over and over. I read the ending about 5 times before returning it to the library. Wish I could have read it more ...

    ReplyDelete
  64. There were many great books I read this year:

    - some of them will come out in 2015 (like Things we Know by Heart by Jessi Kirby, the Last Time we Say Googbye by Cynthia Hand; When by Victoria Laurie);

    - some will come out later this month (This Shattered World by A. Kaufman and M. Spooner.. and I loved rereading the first book in the series);

    - I finished some series (Unwind Dystology by Neal Shusterman, Daughter of Smoke and bone by L. Taylor, Blood of Eden by Julie Kagawa, Under The Never Sky by Veronica Rossi)

    - advanced into others (The Rephanim by P. Weston and The Lunar Chronicles by M. Meyer)

    - and read some unknown stories (like Home is Where You Are by Tessa Marie and He+She by Michelle Warren).

    To be honest, there were so many more. A great year for reading indeed!
    If I win I might want "Isla and the Happily Ever After" to complete my series, though they decided to change the cover. But I am not 100% sure ;))

  112. I have read SO MANY great books this year, it's so hard to pick one favorite!! But if you force me to... ;) I think I'd choose one from way back in January - UNHINGED by A.G. Howard. I adore her and this series, and I'm on pins and needles waiting for book 3 to come next week!!

    As for your top books, there are a lot that I've been wanting to read, but my top choice would be THE SOUND OF LETTING GO. I've been drawn to that one since I heard about it and would love to win it.

    Thanks so much, ans Happy New Year to you!!

  113. It's hard to choose a favorite, but I really liked Whatever Life Throws at You by Julie Cross. I think I'd choose What I Thought Was True or Isla if I win. Thanks for the giveaway!
