This week's Top 10 Tuesday prompt is all about the new authors we discovered this year. One of the great things about this community is when fellow readers introduce you to an author for the first time. I hope here on my blog I've been able to do that for my blog readers. If there's an author you've experienced this year because I pointed them out, please let me know!
Be sure to check out The Broke and the Bookish for more details on this awesome weekly feature.

Oooooh Kasie West is an amazing author, and The Book Of Broken Hearts was such a good book!
ReplyDeleteLove the list ;-)

I need to get on the Sarah MacLean train, I've heard such great things from some pretty great reviewers who I trust. Lisa Kleypas' historical books are fantastic, too, but you should also read her Friday Harbor series. I loved the Sarah Ockler and Tracey Garvis-Graves book, too, this year.
ReplyDeleteI've only read Kasie West books from your list and LOVED both of them. Also, sooo glad to see that Side Effects May Vary is on here because I SO want that book in my life.
ReplyDeleteYes!! Kasie West!! I would have def put Sarah Ockler on here had I not read Twenty Boy Summer previously! She's SO GOOD. The Book of Broken Hearts was just GAHHH THE BEST.
ReplyDeleteI like this list also bc now I know which romance authors to focus on the next time I go to pick up a romance! You never steer me wrong!
fun list - some of my favorites on here :)
ReplyDeleteLooking at people's lists, especially yours, I'm starting to wonder if I stopped scrolling through my "read" list on Goodreads halfway through because I don't know how I forgot Kasie West or Ruthie Knox. Shame on me!
ReplyDeleteYour graphics are pretty -- just like you! I really need to read Rules of Summer and ahhh so jealous re: Julie Murphy book!
ReplyDeleteSarah MacLean in on my TBR list for Winter. I'm excited to check her out. Also, excited to see Lisa Kleypas on your list. If you're still looking for something to read before Christmas, I recommend her book Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor which also starts off her Friday Harbor series. :)
ReplyDeleteKatie Kacvinsky was on my list last year. Have you read the sequel, Second Chance? It's just as good, if not better than First Comes Love! An excellent book. Ruthie was also on my list last year. Her books = amazing! I also love On the Island by Tracey and I cannot wait to read Covet! and Lisa Kleypas <3 it makes my heart SO HAPPY to see her on your list. Woohoo!! Now I definitely need to read Kasie West. I've only heard spectacular things.
ReplyDeleteKasie West! I love The Distance Between Us! :)
ReplyDeleteIt seems that you are drawn to contemporary reads with a healthy dose of romance in the plot lines. I'm not one who gravitates easily to those type of read. When I find a good one, I totally appreciate it. I've read books by Sarah Ockler and been engrossed.
ReplyDeleteOh hey there miss Queen of the Cute Graphics.
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I have been seeing Kasie West on a lot of people's lists, I think I am going to have to bump up Pivot Point on my tbr pile and read it in Jan. Hopefully I can get my hands on The Distance Between Us as well. :)
ReplyDeleteErin @ Let's Evaluate
