My Top Ten Books I Was Forced To Read (& I am forever grateful for it!)

This week's Top 10 Tuesday prompt wants to know, which books top your list as the ones you were forced to read?  I know required reading in school comes to mind for a lot, but today I thought I'd mention the books other friends/bloggers forced upon me and I am forever grateful for them doing so -- meaning I LOVED IT!

Have you read any of these? Which books have been forced upon you & you've ended up loving too? Be sure to check out The Broke and the Bookish for more details on this awesome weekly feature.

  2. I've heard such great things about Jellicoe Road, I really need to read that book. It's so great when you read something you may never have read because someone recommended it. Great list! ~Pam

  4. I have always wanted to read On the Island, but haven't gotten to it and keep forgetting about it! Also kinda drawn to Ride With Me... hahaha Those abs are hard to ignore. Let's be honest. I liked Going to Far, but didn't love it as much as I'd hoped! It was one that was forced on me though so maybe I would have liked it more if I didn't have such high expectations? Everyone seems to love that one though so maybe I'M the loser! haha I am still intimidated by Jellicoe Road!

  9. On the Island... Such a surprise for me! I usually don't like the whole "lost at sea" theme, but oh my goodness... This book was SO GOOD!

I bought Sugar Daddy when it was on sale for Kindle because of your review! I haven't read it yet, but I'm sure I'll love it.

  12. Did you read How to Kill A Rockstar by Tiffanie DeBartolo? I was hesitant to read it because I thought it's name sounded sounded cheesy but ended up loving it! I haven't read God-Shaped Hole but since I loved her other book so much I might give this a try.

Also I absolutely looooooove Going too Far! If you liked that one you should try Cracked Up To Be by
Courtney Summers. (if you haven't read it yet)
