A Summer Snapshot of What's To Come

I am beyond excited to be putting together another summer reading feature with some of my favorite bloggers again!  Tara from Fiction Folio, along with Estelle and Magan from Rather Be Reading are joining me to bring y'all some summer goodness.  We'll be featuring new titles to check out, as well as past books that are great to read on those long hot summer days.  Look out for author and guest posts, summer related themes, and giveaways so that you can pack your beach bag full of books!

This feature will kick off on Monday, June 3rd!

The weekly schedule is as follows:
Monday - right here at GReads!
Tuesday - Magan & Estelle at Rather Be Reading
Thursday - Tara at Fiction Folio

We guarantee summer goodness on those days, but we may throw in an occasional post here & there on other days as well.  This feature is meant to be fun, relaxing, and enjoying - just like summer should be!

In the meantime, get to know these lovely ladies in their summer snapshots below.

Growing up in Michigan and now living in Chicago, Tara knows how precious those few summer months can be. So when it gets warm and sunny, you can find her with a book and a fruity beverage on the beaches of Lake Michigan. When she's not soaking up rays, Tara blogs at Fiction Folio and is a freelance copyeditor.

One word to describe summers in Texas: HOT!  As much as Ginger loves the summertime season, she also knows the importance of being near shade or a pool of water to help stay cool.  Some of her favorite summertime memories involve family road trips to Colorado, visiting the beaches of Florida, and traveling across the pond to London.  When she's not dreaming of her next vacation, she's working towards her degree to teach middle school Language Arts, or blogging about what she reads here at GReads!

Estelle’s favorite things about summer: cute dresses, summer brews, and the beach -- all of which can be enjoyed with a good book. Growing up in Jersey, she spent most summers at the shore until her family got obsessed with Walt Disney World. Some of her best summer memories include participating in library reading contests as a kid and reading in the big window of her shore house with the lights of the boardwalk behind her. This year, she’s thrilled to spend her first summer in the big city (hopefully with a few adventures thrown in). You can find her chatting books with Magan daily at Rather Be Reading Blog.

Magan is a fun-loving girl from a small town deep in the heart of Texas, but she currently resides in Austin. She devours contemporary young adult fiction, but mixes in a dash of fantasy or science fiction every now and then. Magan's love for reading began as a young girl when she would escape the blistering summer heat with a great book in a nice, air-conditioned room. Magan co-blogs at Rather Be Reading with Estelle.

With summer just a few weeks away, which books are you planning to read? What event in your life are you most looking forward to THIS summer?
