Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Contemporary Authors

This week's Top Ten Tuesday prompt is asking who our favorite authors are for a certain genre. Since I've been branching out into adult contemps, I thought I'd compile a list of my favorite contemporary authors -- both YA & Adult.  Check out The Broke and the Bookish for more details on this awesome weekly feature.

This Week's Top 10: Favorite Contemporary Authors

1. Jennifer Echols - Going Too Far, Endless Summer, Forget You, Such a Rush
2. Jill Shalvis - Lucky Harbor series
3. Tara Kelly - Harmonic Feedback, Amplified
4. John Green - Looking for Alaska, The Fault in Our Stars
5. Kirsty Eagar - Raw Blue, Night Beach
6. Jenny Han - The Summer I Turned Pretty series
7. Trish Doller - Something Like Normal, All That Was Lost
8. Melina Marchetta - Saving Francesca, The Piper's Son
9. Gayle Forman - If I Stay, Where She Went
10. Megan McCafferty - Jessica Darling series

I could probably add at least a dozen more!  All authors are linked to their goodreads pages & the book titles listed are the ones I've read by them.

  3. I love Echols, Han and Foreman, too. I haven't read any Green yet. I don't know what I am waiting for! I also picked up the first book in the Lucky Harbor series, thanks to your review! Can't wait to read it. Great list!

  6. Great list! This one was a hard one to pick only 10 for. I only recently got into contemporary so I will have to give a lot of these authors a shot. Here is my TTT.
