Sweet Summertime Reads: Grab a book & get your drink on!

The summer is not complete until you grab a tasty beverage along with your current summer read and settle in for a relaxing, good time.  Tara, Estelle, Magan, & I have teamed up to present to you the SWEET SUMMERTIME READS feature.  Today we're giving you our favorite cocktails (a few are virgin) to accompany those delicious summer reads.

Now keep in mind, most of these are a little more A than Y (meaning they contain alcohol & should only be consumed by those 21 & older).  However, there is no age limit on these fantastic summer reads.  So feel free to enjoy these books, even without the adult beverage near by. Be sure to check out all the fabulous giveaways happening here at my blog, as well as Fiction Folio and Rather Be Reading!

  2. I just woke up with a wine induced hangover and saw this and thought "You know, maybe this would help me." I'm currently looking for pineapple juice in my fridge so I can make a Wanderlove.

  4. What a great post, Ginger! It's my fervent belief that all books should be paired with food and or drink, and you've done so excellently! Considering I just bought Margarita mix, I may have to go with option #2. :P

  5. Love the drink suggestions! As far as mixing drinks go, my friends and I are notorious for grabbing slushes or limeades from Sonic and adding in stuff when we get home!

The Belize Breeze looks super yummy!
