For those that celebrate, I wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope you're all spending the holiday with ones you love, whether that be family or friends. We tend to get wrapped up in the holiday frenzy of buying gifts, and forget the true meaning of this season. I know for me, it's about family. As a child I have fond memories of waking up extra early Christmas morning, creeping down stairs with my sisters to see what Santa left us under the tree. My mother usually helped Santa by wrapping each of our gifts in different, decorative paper. She would separate our piles among the living room floor, and we'd know which one was ours because our stocking would be resting next to it. These memories are ones I cherish and are so thankful to have in my heart. As our families expand, so do our traditions. I still find myself waking up Christmas morning with that extra feeling of joy inside. Whether I am 10 yrs old or 30 yrs old, it's a feeling I know that will never go away.
Make a memory worth keeping this Christmas. Start a new tradition. Find happiness in something small. Cherish your loved ones. May all your Christmas wishes come true this season!
Merry Christmas from my little piece of the book blogging community, xoxo.
