I just got word that one of my dearest book blogger friends, the amazing Capillya from That Cover Girl is nominated for an award!!  The peeps over at Justine Magazine saw her awesomeness & decided she needs to be a finalist for her creation of The Mockingbirds by Daisy Whitney.  So I am asking all of you, to go support my lovely friend by voting for her amazing video!  The contest is open until May 15th, so there's lots of time to get the word out.  Please tweet about this, blog about it, whatever you can do to make sure it's known that Capillya deserves this award!  Thank you all SO much :-)  It warms my heart to see someone with so much talent get recognized for it.

I feel very honored & appreciative right now for being nominated in the category of Best New Blog 2010 for the Readers' Choice Awards, hosted at Mindful Musings . 

I started this book blog just a few short months ago, never even considering how much I would grow to enjoy doing something like this.  My passion for reading has sparked a huge fire inside of me.  It's gotten me out of some pretty dark days & on to a much lighter & greater path!  Being able to share this experience with you all is truly what inspires me.  I am ever so grateful for those who happen to stumble upon my book blog, as well as the faithful followers who continue to keep coming back.  YOU are the reason why I keep pushing forward with this little "hobby" of mine.

My Answer:

I believe everything happens for a reason... so would I go back in my past & change something?  Of course!  Who wouldn't?!  But picking that one thing is tough.  I'd probably change my career path.  I'm almost 30 and just NOW figuring out what I want to do with my life.  If I could, I would have chosen this path a lot sooner in life!
