Thankful for the writers who continue to inspire me! Your words give me comfort, make me laugh, & remind me of the goodness in this world!

With the holiday season sneaking up on us so quickly, I started to think about all the things I'm thankful for this year. In my personal life, the list has no end -- there are far too many blessings to count. Then I started to focus on my bookish life, recognizing the authors and the books for which I am so thankful for. I turned to twitter and began expressing my gratitude for a few authors, encouraging others to do the same, using the hashtag #ThankfulReader. But I realized my appreciation goes beyond just the books themselves and dives deep into this community of readership.
I'm thankful for YA contemp writers @mindi_scott, @AuthorTaraKelly & @anniecardi b/c their stories continue to inspire me #ThankfulReader

ReplyDeleteThis #ThankfulReader hashtag was such a wonderful idea! A very lovely way to celebrate the authors and readers that have enriched our reading experience and helped us to learn and grow and feel lots of things. While it was definitely too hard for me to narrow down all that I'm thankful for, I'd like to thank YOU for coming up with such a wonderful idea :)
