GReads Went to BEA (my face did anyway!)

If you have a book blog, or follow book blogs then you may have heard of a little book event that went down in NYC this past week - no?  Then check out Book Expo America to learn all about this epicness.

Unfortunately I was not able to attend this year.  I had another epic event to be present for - the birth of my nephew :-)  As sad as I was to be missing out on all the awesome bookish things in NYC, my nephew being born was a tad bit more important lol.  I'm sure you understand.

My lovely and completely awesome book blogger friends who were able to attend BEA brought me along for their adventure though!  Can I just say how truly amazing these people are?  They kept me in the loop all week long via text, twitter, & even video chat!  They all knew how much I wished I could have been there & so they brought bits of BEA to me.  So THANK YOU for that!  Here's a few pics of my face making it's way across NYC & encountering the BEA experience.  Jen from Makeshift Bookmark and Capillya from That Cover Girl were along for the ride as well.

At the airport catching our flight to NYC!

Had to stop for a bite to eat!

Visited Strand Book Store in NYC & found a book with my name on it! :-)

My book blogger BFFs met for dinner & drinks one night! Hanging out with Anna & Carla :-)

Got to chill with Melanie too!!

The beautiful Jamie was there as well!!

And the lovely Tara too!!

Got some kick ass books signed by some kick ass authors!  I heard the lines were long.  Good thing I had my friends to keep me company while I waited.

As fun as BEA was on a popsicle stick - I definitely want to experience it first hand next year.  Huge thanks to Lindsi for carrying my face around all week!

  16. LOL! Loving the post, way too much fun. BEA was a rush this year. I didn't know anyone and most bloggers seemed to be on a mission for free books so I just roamed around on my own.

Oh, well, perhaps next time I'll have a better time.

    A Lovely Little Love
